The Visit of the AGRESULTS Project Sponsor Team

AGRESULTS PROJECT SPONSOR UNION TO VISIT THE WIDE OF AN DINH COMPANY IN THAI BINH. 

On October 1, 2019, the technology demonstration site participating in Phase II of AgResults Project of An Dinh Investment and Technology Development Co., Ltd. was honored to welcome the global AgResults Project Executive Board to visit. AgResults delegation was attended by donors’ representatives, including the World Bank, the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the Government of Canada, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), and the international development – UK (DFID), Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation with representatives from SNV Vietnam and Ms. Tran Thu Ha (AgResults Vietnam Project Director).

The delegation exchanged information and shared difficulties, lessons learned with farmers, local government representatives who accompany the contest units in Phase II of the project. The project follows a “pull mechanism” – a results-based monetary bonus to further replicate the technology package demonstrated and tested through Phase 1 to as many farmers as possible and guaranteed. efficiency increase rice yield, while reducing greenhouse gas emissions in agricultural production.
